Verification on both sides of the marketplace
Trust in an adult industry marketplace starts with knowing who is on the other end. We check both sides before anyone can post, apply or message.
- Employers. Studios, agencies, cam networks and platforms submit business documents and confirm a working email address on their own company domain. Producers of explicit content also provide a record-keeping statement covering US 18 U.S.C. 2257 records. A job listing goes live only after the business check passes.
- Workers. Every worker submits a government ID and date of birth through an identity verification step before a profile becomes visible. Only adults aged 18 or older can create a profile. Minors cannot create a profile, and any account that appears to belong to a minor is removed immediately.
Verification badges show employers and workers that the other side passed these checks. They are not an endorsement of any job offer, so workers should still read every contract, and our guide to getting into the adult industry safely lists the red flags to watch for.
02
How identity data is handled
ID documents are the most sensitive data we process, so they are treated separately from everything else.
- ID images and dates of birth are used only to confirm identity and age. They are never shown to employers or other users.
- Employers see the stage name and profile details a worker chooses to share, plus a verified badge. Legal names stay private unless the worker shares them directly, for example in a contract.
- Access to verification records is restricted to a small number of staff who need it, and every access is logged.
- Verification data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose and legal obligations described in our privacy policy, then deleted.
03
Encryption and access control
All traffic between your browser and PornWorkers is encrypted in transit with HTTPS, including logins, messages, uploads and payments. Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes, never in readable form. Card details are handled by our payment operator and never stored on our servers.
Inside the company, access follows the principle of least privilege: staff get only the permissions their role requires, administrative access requires strong authentication, and sensitive actions are recorded. Sign-in codes sent by email protect new accounts, and sessions can be ended from your account settings.
04
Private messaging and profile visibility
Messages between workers and verified employers stay on the platform, which keeps a record if something goes wrong and means nobody needs to share a personal phone number to discuss a job. Workers decide who can see their profile:
- Hidden. Nobody can find you; you apply when you choose.
- Verified employers only. Visible only to business-verified employers.
- Employers I applied to. Visible only to companies you contacted.
- Public SFW card. A safe-for-work summary anyone can view.
Block lists let workers hide their profile from specific companies or from employers in whole countries. Explicit portfolio items, if a performer adds any, sit behind an age-gate overlay; everything else on the site is safe for work. Stage names are allowed.
05
Reporting abuse, scams and unsafe offers
Every listing, profile and message has a report option, and reports can also be sent to [email protected]. Our team reviews each report. We act on offers that ask workers to pay to audition, listings without real contracts, pressure or coercion, escort or prostitution offers, signs of trafficking and anything involving minors. Accounts that fail checks or break the rules are removed, and content involving minors is reported to the relevant authorities. Zero tolerance applies to minors, trafficking and coercion.
06
Team controls for agencies
Larger employers need to manage who on their team can see applicants. The Agency plan includes up to 10 seats with roles, single sign-on (SSO) so staff use their company login, and an audit log that records who viewed, contacted or exported which candidate. Recruiter and Employer plans include fewer seats, and all plans keep applicant data inside the platform. See pricing for the full comparison, or post a job to start the business verification.
07
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from your settings or by writing to [email protected]. Your profile disappears from search immediately, and personal data is removed except where the law requires us to keep limited records for a set period, such as billing records. Payments already made are final as set out in the refund policy, and cancelling a subscription stops future renewals.
Questions people ask
Can employers see my legal name or ID?
No. ID documents are used only for verification and are never shown to employers. Employers see your stage name and the profile details you choose to share.
How are employers verified?
Employers submit business documents and confirm an email on their own company domain. Producers of explicit content also provide a 2257 record-keeping statement before posting.
Can I hide my profile from certain companies or countries?
Yes. Block lists let you hide your profile from specific companies and from employers in entire countries.
How do I report a suspicious job offer?
Use the report option on the listing or message, or email [email protected]. Our team reviews every report and removes accounts that break the rules.
Are my messages private?
Messages are visible only to you and the other party, are encrypted in transit and stay on the platform, so there is a record if a problem arises.
